A great day with 37676/706 from Preston - Perth and back, the train was routed via York (ECML to Edinburgh) Then via fife circle to Perth outward via the coast and return via Dunfermline.

I have had a lot of time off this summer so been out quite a lot. Unfortunatley the weather has been pretty naff! Best parts this summer were proberley
- KWVR Diesel Gala in June with DRS 37087. Green tractor D6737.
- A trip to London with Stobart Rails 47832 and DRS 47712 aswell as a shot of W&S 67013 at Marylebone.
- A few days camping with a few mates in the West Midlands, which was proberley best weather week we have see this week. We went to various places including Rugby,Tamworth, Rugeley and Leamington.
- Some night shots of diverted class 86'sat York due the WCML being closed.
- Aswell as local shots including diverted workings via my area instead of Lincoln, but not as much as I hoped as weather had made a lot of shots a waste of time.
Hopefully Summer 2009 will be sunnier? Lol

A Trip up to the North Yorkshire Moors 2008 diesel gala. The line up was D9009, D6700, D1015, D182 and 50027. The weather was excellent clear skies all weekend and hot!

Planned to go to Bo'Ness about a week before the event, so booked a B&B and filled the car up. After checking the weather was forcast heavy rain all weekend but luckily soon as I got there the sun came out and the dark clouds rolled away. Was well worth the trip up. The Bo'Ness Home fleet was in use for this great event. Big Thanks to the JD,DD,TC and Steven for the laughs!
